She was predeceased by : her parents, Herbert Cleo and Patricia Taylor (Barfield); her brothers, Herbert O'Neil Taylor and Glenn Norman Taylor; her husband Calvin Whidden; her stepsons, James David Whidden and John Allen Whidden; her son-in-law Darrell Henderson; and her grandson Devin Whidden.

She is survived by : her children, Page McCutcheon (Michael), Holly Whiddon, Gail Henderson and Bret Whidden (Dena).
