It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet T. Hammond (Clewiston, Florida), born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on July 27, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Wesley Turnipseed and Doris Turnipseed; and her husband Gene Hammond. She is survived by : her siblings, Frances Meaders and Wesley Turnipseed, Jr.; her children, Maxwell Scott Hammond (Kathy) and Barbara Lee Jackson (Jeremy); and her grandchildren, Matthew, Mark and Dakotah. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
