He was predeceased by : his parents, Franklin Powell and Jeanne Chowning (VanEs); and his brothers, Bruce Chowning and Gregory Chowning. He is survived by : his wife Tammy; his children, Franklin "Jacob" Powell (Anni) of Chesapeake, Gavin Powell (Stacey Smith) of LaBelle, Dillon Powell of LaBelle and Jada Powell of LaBelle; and his siblings, Ed Chowning, Christopher Chowning, Gail Pelletier (Phillip), Shirley Chrissey (Bill) and Polly Anna Raulerson. He is also survived by grandchildren.
