He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Ramon Leonard Carroll Sr. and Evelyn Morse Carroll; and his son Peter Benjamin Carroll. He is survived by: his wife Cindy; his children, Christi Ware of Nashville, Tennessee, Leonard Carroll III, Robert Carroll (Dara) of Cleveland, Tennessee, Lincoln Carroll (Kristine) of Frisco, Texas and Emily Gerwig (Jason) of Springfield, Illinois.; his grandchildren, Ashley Gunn, Jessica Dustin (Eric), Ryanne Ware, Caitlin Forsythe, Chase Carroll, Chelsea Carroll, Lincoln Carroll and Meredith Gerwig; his great grandchildren, Jason Gunn, Ryland Dustin, Emerson Dustin, Colson Forsythe and Oaklynn Forsythe; his sister-in-law Betsy Laakko (Keith) of Elmhurst; his niece Annelise Laakko; and his nephew Will Laakko.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the New Harvest Church (370 Holiday Isles, Clewiston, FL 33440).

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to Harvest Academy Christian School in the name of Dr. R. Leonard Carroll.
