He is survived by: his spouse Johnnie Clarice Bell; his children, Paul Mitchell of Clewiston, Ronnie Mitchell of Clewiston and Tammie Mitchell Green of Clewiston; and his sister Diane Byars. He is also survived by six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Evangel Assembly of God (350 S Berner Rd, Clewiston, FL 33440). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 3:15 PM at the Ridgelawn Cemetery (520 Ridgelawn Rd, Clewiston, FL 33440).
