He was predeceased by : his parents, Evander B. Bethea and Bonnie Bethea (Emrich). He is survived by : his wife Cynthia; his children, Reba, Moses, Delilah and Punkey; his siblings, Richard Bethea (Rose) and Lavon Marie Varnum; his nieces and nephews, Sherry Davis (David), DeAnne Houghtaling (Bill), Vicki Reumerman (Willem), Richard Bethea Jr. (Nancy) and Kevin Green; and his great-nephew Jasper. He is also survived by several great nieces, nephews and cousins.
