He is survived by : his wife Cynthia; his children, Reba, Moses, Delilah and Punkey; his siblings, Richard Bethea (Rose) and Lavon Marie Varnum; his nieces, Sherry Davis (David), DeAnne Houghtaling (Bill) and Vicki Reumerman (Willem); his great-nephew Jasper; and his nephews, Richard Bethea Jr. (Nancy) and Kevin Green. He is also survived by several great nieces, nephews and cousins.
