He was predeceased by: his parents, Darwin Adkins and Carol Rose Adkins (Chaffins); and his brother Delbert "Dinky" Adkins. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Adkins (Chambers); his children, Chad Adkins (Tara) and Stacy Puett (Vic); his grandchildren, Ashley King (Josh), Kaley Adkins, Abby Elkins (Griffin), Jack Pruett and Allison Adkins; his siblings, Amanda Hicks of West Virginia, Tom Adkins of West Virginia, Wanda Conley of West Virginia, Tracy Adkins of West Virginia and Juanita Adair of West Virginia; and his pet Puka. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
