It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene W Mwangi-Harvin of Cocoa, Florida, who passed away on April 8, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Irene W Mwangi-Harvin to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Leonard Mwangi and Rachelle Mwangi. She is survived by : her husband Walter Lee Harvin; her son Hiiji Muchiri Harvin; and her siblings, John Muchiri and Alice Hastings-James. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Wylie-Baxley Funeral Home (1360 N Courtenay Pkwy, Merritt Island, FL 32953).

In October 2008, she played an integral role in the formation of the family charity, Kenya Scholarship Fund International, a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization, which has touched the lives of many Kenyan students.
