He was predeceased by: his parents, Jan Jachimczyk and Irena Jachimczyk (Kolimaga). He is survived by: his wife Yukuko Ito; his daughters, Julia Yuka Ruell (Aaron), Ewa Jachimczyk, Emi Grimshaw (Brandon) and Elizabeth Stilwell (Skylar); and his siblings, Halina Antczak and Adam Jachimczyk. He is also survived by three nephews and nine grandchildren.
