He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard "Barney" Lawhead and Elsie Lawhead; and his grandson Dylon Lawhead. He is survived by: his wife Karen Lawhead; his sons, Michael David Lawhead (Pearl McNamara), Scott Allen Lawhead (Connie Ross) and Brett Wade Lawhead (Dea); his grandchildren, Ryan Lawhead, Traviss Lawhead, Niki Lawhead and Haley Milliken; and his sister Janet Kelly. He is also survived by his six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the North Brevard Funeral Home (1450 Norwood Ave, Titusville, FL 32796). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery.
