He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy F. Brewer and Thelma Mainous Brewer; and his brother Larry Roger Brewer. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Watson Brewer; his children, Robert W. Brewer (Fay E. Reiter) and Callie B. Fulmer (John R. Jr.); and his grandsons, Evan T. Fulmer and Jefferson B. Fulmer.
