George Caffrey Sr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George Caffrey Sr. of Cooper City, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 1, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George K. Caffrey Jr. and Laura Caffrey (Reisert). He is survived by: his wife Marie (Pagano); his sons, George Jr. and Kevin; his daughter-in-law Janice; his daughter Doreen; his sister Patty; his grandchildren, Krista, Christopher, Nicholas, Patrick and Casey; and his great grandchildren, Hazel and Lucy.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fred Hunter Funeral Home (6301 Taft St, Hollywood, FL 33024). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the St. David Catholic Church (3900 S University Dr, Davie, FL 33328). A burial was held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Fred Hunter Memorial Gardens (6301 Taft St, Hollywood, FL 33024).
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to The Sandy Ninniger Veterans Nursing Home.
