He was predeceased by: his parents, Armine Frank and Margie Whitaker (Harper); and his brother Doyle. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Bever; his children, Amy Whitaker and Wesley Whitaker; his grandchildren, Keeley Whitaker and Kyle Whitaker; his siblings, Thelma Lutz (Whitaker), Larry Whitaker (Linda) and Lester Whitaker (Emily); and his brothers-in-law, Mike Bever (Rena) and Mark Bever. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
