He was predeceased by: his parents, Malcomb Powell and Edna Powell; his wife Mary Ann Powell; and his brother Earl Powell. He is survived by: his children, Derrick Powell (Stacy) of Cottondale, FL, Dustin Kent of Panama City, FL, Gina Anderson of Geneva, AL and Kristin Owens (Wade) of Marianna, FL; his grandchildren, Savanna Powell, Dawson Powell, Shayla Powell, Sierra Powell, Mitchell Anderson, Adalyn Owens and Declan Owens; and his sisters, Gloyce Curry (Joe) of Geneva, AL and Lawanna Sormrude of Geneva, AL. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
