He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Scott and Unday Scott; and his daughter Glenda Scott. He is survived by: his fiancée Bernita Starr; his daughter Linda Faye Wood; his siblings, Charles Scott, Guilford Scott and Jessie Cassin; his stepdaughters, Charlene Edenfield and Genny Starr; and his grandchildren, Carol Register, Sabrina Griffiss, Peyton Hill, Kylee Hill, Dean and Richard Shores. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
