She was predeceased by: her husband Buford; her parents, Coleman Ayers and Mattie Ayers; her siblings, Larry Ayers and Shirley Branton; and her son-in-law Edwin Pelt.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Pelt of Panama City, Frankie Samford of Tallahassee and Greg Morris (Tammy) of Kynesville; her sister Carolyn Drake of Tallahassee; and her grandchildren, Jamey Pelt (Katia) of Austin Texas, Kevin Pelt of Panama City, John Samford (Sarah) of Tallahassee, Matt Samford of Tallahassee, Heather Pilcher (Rick) of Grand Ridge and Shelby Brooks (Dustin) of Cottondale. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, numerous nephews and nieces and other close family members.
