He was predeceased by: his parents, Judge Leon Cumbaa and Lucy Barber Cumbaa; and his siblings, Leonus Cumbaa, Drew Cumbaa, Alton Cumbaa, Houston Barber, Milton Barber, Ester Cumbaa Melvin, Liza Cumbaa Holly, Ruth Cumbaa Branning, Alma Cumbaa Johnson, Ester Barber, Ethel Barber Akins and Mary Cumbaa Meadows.
He is survived by: his wife Tommie; his daughter Gina Sheppard (Lee) of Forsyth, GA; his grandchildren, Matthew Sheppard (Dalia) of Landover, MD, Micah Sheppard of Macon, GA and Megan Sheppard of Forsyth, GA; and his sister-in-law Edith Barber of Panama City, FL.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
