He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Braxton and Willie King; and his siblings, Dwight Braxton of Byron Braxton, J. L, Joe Braxton, Dorothy Raines and Teresa Braxton.
He is survived by: his wife Tammy Braxton of Cottondale, FL; his children, Patrick Braxton (Tabbatha) of Compass Lake, FL and Keila Braxton Mathis (William) of Cottondale; and his siblings, William Braxton of Milton, FL, Neal Braxton (Barbara Jean) of Pace, Ann Knowlton (Jon) of Cuero and Nancy Webb (Johnny) of Gulf Port, MS. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
