She was predeceased by: her parents, D. "Doc" Tatum and Annie "Pearl" Tatum; her brothers, Clifford Tatum, James Tatum and Newton Tatum; and her grandparents, Sallie Chason, Zack and Appie Tatum.

She is survived by: her husband Amos H. Morris, Sr.; her children, Rita Montgomery (Howell), Amos Hayes Morris, Jr. (Diane) and Rebecca Morris-Haid (George); her grandchildren, Mitchell L. Toole (Janice), Ryan Lindsey, Jessica Aline Haid and Robert Amos Haid; her great grandchildren, Dylan Toole, Andrew Toole, Paisley Lindsey and Blaklyn Lindsey; her brother Jodie Tatum (Sarah); and her sister-in-law Katherine Tatum.
