It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Lamb Brown of Crawfordville, Florida, born in Daleville, Alabama, who passed away on July 14, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Lamb and Ethel Mae Carter Lamb; her son Johnny Earl Hughes; and her siblings, Robert "Bob" R. Lamb, Sr. and Robbie Faye Vann.

She is survived by: her husband Donald W. Brown; her children, Doug Hughes (Patricia "Dink"), Randy Hughes (Nicole), David Brown (Katherine), Pat Akins (Craig) and Wanda Shoemaker (Mike); her grandchildren, Brittany M. Hughes, Douglas J. Hughes, Jr., Rocky D. Hughes, Jordan Brown, Madison Brown, Tracie Shoemaker, Tiffany Shoemaker, Tyler Shoemaker, Jonathan Hughes, Joshua Hughes, Cadence Hughes, Caitlyn Hughes, Kayce Joiner, Skyllar Hughes and Cody Hughes; and her great grandchildren, Amellia Hughes, Adeline Hughes, Tucker Davis, Connor Davis, Isabelle Shoemaker, Benjamin Shoemaker, Alyssa Hughes, Savanah Hughes, Hunter Hughes, Hannah Vossler, Aubrie Hughes, Faith Hughes and Case Joiner. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other extended family.
