With sadness, we share the passing of Julian Franklin Welch Sr. of Crescent City, Florida. Julian, born on July 16, 1940, passed away on October 10, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin "Buck" Welch and Mary Welch; his wife Jeanette "Mama J" Welch; his siblings, Ralph and Lilian; his stepdaughters, Kim and Gail; and his stepgranddaughter Sierra.
He is survived by: his sons, Kenny Welch (Karen), Flynn Welch (Sharon) and Greg Welch (JoAnn); his grandchildren, Lukas, Katelyn (Flynn), Reta and Matthew (Greg); his great grandchildren, Bentley (Lukas) and Hudson (Matthew); his sisters, Imogene, Maime and Sandra; and his stepgranddaughters, Brooke, Abby, Amanda and Suzanne. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Joe P. Burns Funeral Home (1400 N Johnson Stripling Rd, Perry, FL 32347). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the New Home Baptist Church (405 E Hampton Springs Ave, Perry, FL 32347).
