We announce the death of Anita Brown (Niceville, Florida), who passed away on October 15, 2026, at the age of 88. Anita will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernst Jacobsen and Anna Jacobsen; her husband Gary Allen Brown; and her siblings, Erwin, Wilhelm Jacobsen and Helga.
She is survived by: her sons, Allen Brown (Shelli) and Brian Brown (Trina Gerstner); her granddaughters, Monique and Jordan; and her great grandchild Vivian. She is also survived by Her husband, her two sons, her grandchildren, and her great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Heritage Gardens Cemetery (2201 Partin Dr N, Niceville, FL 32578).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to a local nonprofit hospice organization of your choice in Anita's memory, in appreciation of the compassionate care and support these organizations provide to patients and their families.
