He was predeceased by: his parents, J. H. Styron and Pauline Styron; and his siblings, Helen Binder, Robert Styron, Robin Styron and Jim Styron.

He is survived by: his wife Beverly Styron; his son Clint Styron; his stepson John Tyler; his daughter Marina Hamil; his stepdaughter Kimberly Senseney; his siblings, Charles Styron, Paula Franke and Darlene Parker; his grandchildren, Noelle Burkett and Kristin Herchenhahn; and his great grandchildren, Will, Connor, Nic, Bella, McKenna, Elliott and Gavin.
