She was predeceased by: her parents, Burl Junior Matthews and Martha Marie Grace Matthews; and her brother Terry Matthews. She is survived by: her daughter Savannah Matthews; and her brothers, Larry Matthews and Timmy "Burl" Matthews. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Brackney Funeral Service (480 E James Lee Blvd, Crestview, FL 32539).
