As we bid Edgar farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Edgar is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Lawson and Lanie Bell Sowell Lawson; his siblings, Edward Lawson, Corine Mosely and Mary Shaud; and his stepmother Nellie B. Lawson.
He is survived by: his sister Ann Nowling (Jack); and his brother-in-law Steve Shaud (Paula) of DeFuniak Springs. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Cotton Cemetery (1896 Olin Cotton Rd, Baker, FL 32531).
