Ellen L. McNeer Obituary
We announce the death of Ellen L. McNeer of Crestview, Florida, born in Lacassine, Louisiana, who passed away on September 15, 2026, at the age of 90. Ellen will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elvie LeBlanc and Bernice LeBlanc; her brothers, Harold James "Jimmy" LeBlanc of John and Chester Lee LeBlanc Sr.; and her husband Col. Charles "Red" McNeer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kelley M. Hall (Ray) of Destin and Faith McNeer of Crestview, Florida; her grandchildren, Crystal M. Fauss (Jeff) of Aubrey and Jared R. Hall of Destin, Florida; her great grandchildren, Sierra Johnston, Kayla Donaldson, Jackson Hall and Ziggy Fauss; and her brother Wesley "Joe" LeBlanc (Mary) of Houston, Texas. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Emerald Coast Funeral Home (161 Racetrack Rd NW, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32547). A rosary will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 5:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Olive Baptist Church (1 Cemetery Rd, Pensacola, FL 32508).
In lieu of flowers, the family invites contributions to the Alzheimer's Association in Ellen's memory, supporting continued research and hope for the future.
