He is survived by: his wife Sheila Mae Byerle (Wilder); his son Lee Byerle; his daughter-in-law Amy Byerle (Radcliffe) of Chantilly, Virginia; his grandchildren, Andrew, Jillian and James Byerle of Chantilly, Virginia; his aunt Betty Wilson of Durham; and his niece Allison Ashley (Myers) of Evanston, Illinois..
