He was predeceased by: his parents, William Cortez Hart and Effie Jernigan Hart; his wife Voncile Hart; his son Allen Hart; and his brother Dean Hart.

He is survived by: his son Richard Hart; his grandchildren, Lee Hart (Libby) and Lacey Nicole Hart; his great grandchildren, Colby, Blake and Alyssa; and his daughter-in-law Teri Hart.
