With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Marie Short in Crestview, Florida, who passed away on June 13, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Charlie J. Short; her son Loyd D. Short; and her grandson Charles Short. She is survived by : her children, Joey (Terri Short), Denice (Bill Poindexter) and Diana (David Cassell); and her siblings, Virginia Woodson and Gerald (Katie Loyd). She is also survived by six grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
