He is survived by: his wife Helen Blackshear; and his siblings, Colandus Chatman Jr. (Ruby), John Chatman, Laura Elaine Chatman, David Chatman and Michael Chatman.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McKinnie Funeral Home - Crestview (398 Martin Luther King Jr Ave, Crestview, FL 32536). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mt. Zion AME Church (502 McDonald St, Crestview, FL 32536).
