It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Daniel Berry Jr. (Crestview, Florida), who passed away on January 30, 2026, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, J. D., Sr. Berry and Lorraine Berry; his son Jonathan Berry; his parents-in-law, Robert and Jean Cobb; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Berry, Linda Cobb Maloy and Sam Brunson.
He is survived by: his son James D. Berry III; his grandchildren, Noah, Sydney and Jack; his siblings, William "Bill" Berry, Kim Berry (Diane) and Dixie Mullaney (Patrick); the mother of his children Patsy Cobb; and his siblings-in-law, Betty Brunson, Judy Fowler (Mike), Jan Blocker, Terry Thames (Chuck), Bob Cobb and Steve Matthews. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
