With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Gatlin (Crestview, Florida), born in Ranburne, Alabama, who passed away on June 8, 2025 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joan Gatlin to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Cicero Hendrix and Druscilla Hendrix; her siblings, Carolyn English, Jean Mobley and Charles Ray Hendrix; and her granddaughter Jenna Gatlin Burgess.

She is survived by: her husband Joe Gatlin; her sons, Jimmy Gatlin (Detra), Eddie Gatlin (Renee) and Bobby Gatlin (Kerri); her sister Shirlene Mills; and her grandchildren, Jason Gatlin, Lacy Russell (Logan), Taylor Gatlin and Will Gatlin. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dorcas Baptist Church steeple fund.
