He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Gilbert" Jones and Mae "Etell" Jones; his brothers, Granville, Clayton and Levon Jones; and his son-in-law Gary "Buck" Booker.
He is survived by: his wife Leah "Loretta" Jones; his children, Darrell Jones and Cindy Jones Booker; his siblings, Larry Jones, Bobbie Jones Andujar and Linda Jones Smith (Ray); and his grandson Wade Booker (Aarika Harris Booker). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and lifelong friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Christ (2845 Airport Rd, Crestview, FL 32539).
