We are sad to announce that on July 18, 2023, at the age of 79, Joyce Ellen Mercer of Crestview, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Roy Peterson and Emily Peterson (Nickerson); her children, Valerie and James (Amy); and her siblings, Ron (Dorene) and Joan. She was also cherished by granddaughter, Cherokee and two step grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Pet Welfare, Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, an animal rescue organization whose work Joyce felt strongly about.
