He was predeceased by: his wife Sheila Batson; his daughter Angie Fleming; his great grandchild David Hewett; his sister Mary Lee Lewis; and his father Ross.

He is survived by: his brother Craig (Sheila Batson); his daughter Chris (Steve Bolton); and his brother Leon (Betty Batson). He is also survived by son 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. also numerous nieces and nephews, including a special niece.
