“We have been Mr. Ray's next-door neighbor almost 5 years. Our first night in town after driving from Colorado, we arrived at our new home, which had a broken AC. It was summer, and it was 87 humid degrees inside! Ray took us in that night, cats and all. Ray loved life, people, to sing, to fish, Auburn football, and his yard was his pride and joy. Ray was a great storyteller, & what stories he had to tell! I will forever remember him seated in his garage, always ready to talk to passerby's.”
