He was predeceased by : his parents, Lewis Edward Bowers and Margaret Jane McCallum; and his wife Nellie Hope Fleming Bowers. He is survived by : his son Lewis Alton Bowers (Boonroeng); his grandchildren, Arnel Bowers and Christine Holley (Mark); and his stepgrandchildren, Netnapa, Hathairat and Thapani Sawaengsri. He is also survived by his 2 great grandchildren.
