We are sad to announce that on May 23, 2025, at the age of 92, Maxine N. Griffith (Crestview, Florida) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Maxine departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Maxine may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Maxine leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Preston Nixon and Edna Nixon; and her brother Ronald. She is survived by: her siblings, Sylvia, Nita (Norman), Audrey, Clinton (Carolyn) and Alton (Katie).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 9:00 AM. A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holt Assembly of God (540 3rd Ave, Holt, FL 32564).
