It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard Stutts of Cross City, Florida, born in Steinhatchee, Florida, who passed away on July 27, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, W. A. Stutts and Bessie Stutts; his siblings, Lloyd "Bearcat" Stutts and Dorothy Griggs; his daughter Lynee Cooper; his grandson Christopher Cooper; and his daughter-in-law Debbie Cooper.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo Stutts; his children, Keith Stutts, Kevin Stutts (Kiley) and Renee Liles (Danny); his siblings, Patsy Miley and Walter Stutts; and his brother-in-law Bobby Hatch (Linda). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren.
