He was predeceased by : his father John Watson; and his brother James Watson. He is survived by : his children, Edward Watson (Jean) and Kim Hamilton; and his siblings, John "Skeeter" Watson, David Watson, Raymond Keen, Jr., Fannie Watson, Jackie Giaimo, Lisa Martin and Carla Lambert. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and other extended family.
