He is survived by: his children, Michael Alan Winship Jr. (Susan) of Lecanto, Florida, Karen Sullivan (Kerry) of Hampton Beach and Sheri Kimball (Jim) of Boston, Massachusetts.; his grandchildren, Drew, Megan, Maddy, Michael, Jenna, Ellie and Jack; and his great grandchildren, Murphy and Olive.
