He was predeceased by: his parents, James Pelt and Patricia Pelt (Crabtree); his son Richard N. Pelt, Jr.; and his brothers, Joseph and James Pelt.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Pelt; his children, William Arnett, Joseph Pelt and Lita; and his siblings, Mike Pelt, Debbie Van Dalen, Tina Edmonds and Jamie Pollard. He is also survived by his five grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (10002 S Riviera Dr, Homosassa Springs, FL 34448).
