With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Jo McCabe (Dade City, Florida), born in Evansville, Indiana, who passed away on September 10, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Cornelius Mac McCabe; her parents, Marion Hormuth and Viola Hormuth; her brother Fred Hormuth; and her son Mark McCabe.

She is survived by : her children, Lisa Bessenger (Les) and James McCabe (Ana); her siblings, Ana Lee Haas, Mary Wiggers and Tom Hormuth; her grandchildren, Raven Thompson (Keonte), Morgan McCabe, Patrick McCabe, Marshall McCabe, Bowman Archibald and Garrett Archibald; and her great grandchild Kane Thompson.
