It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Ray Turner of Dade City, Florida, born in Moulton, Alabama, who passed away on September 8, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Opal Lee and Jake Lee Turner; his wife Bonni Axler; his daughter Michelle Faith Turner; and his brother Wesley Turner.

He is survived by : his caregiver Bonnie Gaskin Turner; his daughter Maryann Turner; his stepdaughter Felicia Altman (Brian); his stepgranddaughter Ruchama Ariella; his sisters, Anne Grigsby, Marie Turner, Penny Dykes (Terry), Mollie Kirsopp (Frank) and Tommie Pierce (Basil); and his sister-in-law Linda Gaskin Peterson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
