He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Posey and Annie Laura Posey (Gill); and his siblings, Rhomelle White and McKemie Posey. He is survived by: his sister Alice Musser of Dade City. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Pasadena Baptist Church.
