He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Vincent Schambeau and Mary Barthle Schambeau; his wife Leone Derosier Schambeau; his sister Judi Schambeau Hall; his sisters-in-law, Jean Guerrieri and Suzanne Derosier; and his nephew Sam Derosier.
He is survived by: his son David Vincent Schambeau; his daughter-in-law Andrea Chen; his brother Jerry Schambeau; his sisters-in-law, Betty Schambeau, Patsy Shafchuk, Carol Sharer and Irene Derosier; and his nieces and nephews, Sam Schambeau, Matthew Schambeau, John Paul Shafchuk, Ryan Shafchuk, Gioia Guerrieri and Shannon Schambeau Patterson.
