Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Sylvia Florence leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Honey and Violet Honey (Frye); her husband John Tait; her son Stephen Tait; and her grandson Armand Vega.

She is survived by: her children, Susan Vega and David Tait; and her friend Linda Spivey (Bill). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hodges Family Funeral Home - Dade City (11441 US-301, Dade City, FL 33525). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
