He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Barnett and Sylvia Barnett (Trezzo); and his brother Joseph Barnett. He is survived by: his wife Mary Barnett; his children, Edward Barnett (Daniela) of Farmingdale, NY and Jessika Axtell (Jason) of Davenport, FL; his sister Barbara Barnett of Astoria, NY; his siblings-in-law, Pauline Barnett of New Jersey and Brian Dixon (Kathy) of Stuart Manor, NY; and his grandchildren, Edward Jr., Nicolas, Jaxon and Lennox. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made in Al's honor to the Disabled American Veterans, in recognition of his service and dedication to his country.
