He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Vito Ielapi and Fannie Ielapi of Mary's Cemetery Troy; his wife Deborah; his daughter Amy Ielapi; his stepchildren, Katie Carter and Cameron Gregory; and his granddaughters, Dera Carter and Scarlet Gregory.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Cemetery. Both of Them being retired from Ford gave Them the time to travel to 43 states up until COVID hit and stopped them from travelling to see the last 7 states.
