He was predeceased by: his wife Susie. He is survived by: his children, April Philips (Corey) of Amarillo, Jason "Jake" Ammons of Amarillo and Erik Ammons (Annie) of Amarillo; his grandchildren, Hayden Ammons, Meaghan Carlton, Bret Clark and Tyler Mosbaugh; and his siblings, Jimmy Ammons of Kentucky, Mike Ammons of Michigan, Diane of Michigan and Louri of Michigan.
The family suggests memorial donations may be made to the Moose Lodge in Hallandale, FL.
